WAIKATO RIVER HIGH

(0.C.) HAMILTON, Sunday. The Waikato River at Hamilton reached a level equal to Bft 6in above normal yesterday following the frequent and heavy rains that have fallen throughout the district for a fortnight. The rainfall this month has reached 6.92 in, which exceeds September's average of 4.02 in by 2.90 in although it has not yet reached last September's total of 7.55 in.
