DEATH OF FARMER

SILVERDALE COLLISION A verdict that death was due to shock and injuries received in a collision between a motor car and service truck was returned to-day by the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, at an inquest into the death of Brian Christian Crufurd Alexander. The deceased, single, aged 55, a farmer at Silverdale, was in a car being towed along the main highway at Silverdale on June 30, when it came into collision with a service truck approaching from the opposite direction. Deceased was taken to the Auckland Hospital, where he died.
