About 78 tons of rabbit/skins were offered at this week's sale in Dunedin to a full bench of buyers. The market opened witlr a very firm tone, and competition improved as the sale progressed. Values, as compared with the previous sale's rates, can be generally quoted firmer as follow: — Low grades, 5d to 12d per lb; racks, 3d to 4d per lb; autumns, 12d to 24d per lb. Following is the official range of prices:—lncoming and early winter, 156 d to 166 d; second incomings, 142 d to 155 d; late autumns, 148 d to 159 d; second late autumns, 132 d to 141 d;. early autumns, 129 d to 137 d; second early autumns, 114 d to 126 d; dawny autumns, 93d to 114 d; prime racks, 104 d to 107 d; light racks, 106 d to 109 d; runners, 87d to 90d; small, 4iy 2 d to 44' 1 / £d; summers, 54d to 64d; milky, 52d to 65d; autumn broken, 72*4 to 80d; summer broken, 49d to 63d; blacks, 40d to 107 d; summer fawns, 16d; autumn fawns, 20d; hareskins, 1/.
