The correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain with the Bth Army, says that when an 18-year-old German fighter pilot was brought up for questioning he spat in a British colonel's face. The officer calmly wiped his face and said: "I would be justified in shooting you and ought to do so to prevent you breeding more of your kind.
