AUSTRALIAN PROGRAMME Rec. 1 p.m. MELBOURNE, this day. The Federal Government intends to introduce a scheme of pensions for widows, unemployment insurance and is planning for authority for housing as soon as possible after Parliament meets in the New Year. Announcing this the Minister for Health and Social Services, Mr. Holloway, said that widows' pensions would be on the same basis as oldage and invalid pensions.
