MACHINISTS STRIKE
U.S. DEFENCE WORK HELD UP nee. 11.30 a.m. ST. LOUIS, Nov. 24. A general strike of 8500 American Federation of Labour machinists began to-day, paralysing factories with millions of pounds' worth of defence orders.
