DOMINION CONFERENCE

MEETINGS IN AUCKLAND The annual conference of the New Zealand Grain, Seed and Produce Merchants' Federation (Inc.), which is being held in Auckland, began this morning with a meeting of the executive of the federation, and continued this afternoon with the annual meeting of the New Zealand Federated Fertiliser Merchants' Distributors' Association. Delegates have arrived in Auckland from all over New Zealand, as far south as Invercargill, and the programme of meetings will extend over three days. To-morrow will be occupied with simultaneous meetings of the North and South Island Associations, and in the evening delegates will be entertained at a dinner. The actual conference of the federation will take place on Thursday and will be opened by the Mayor, Mr. J. A. C. Allum. Arrangements have been made for the entertainment of visiting delegates and their wives.
