SHIPPING DELAYED
Heavy seas and a strong northeasterly gale have resulted in several coastal vessels being delayed and some of the Northern Company's fleet are reported to be sheltering" in a rVL no^r h and south of Auckland. ihe Union Company's vessels Kopara and Kaimai, which were expected yesterday from the east coast and Westport respectively, had not reached port up to the time of going to press, while the Gabriella, which arrived late yesterday from Westport was also delayed and reported rough weather on the coast Within the Gulf conditions are calmer, and in the harbour ferry and launch services are running horm-
