Grace—Udmondson.—The engagement is announced between Gerald Joseph, youngest son of Mrs. K. A. Grace, of Heme Bay, Auckland, and the late Mr. T. J. Grace, and Muriel Mary, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Edmondson, of 9, Moana Street Hamilton.
O'Connell—Soufflot.—The engagement is announced between Private Patrick Herbert O'Connell, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. O'Connell, Ohakune, and Constance Evelyn, only daughter of Mrs. M. Soufflot, Miro Street. Ohakune.
Willis—Clarke.—The engagement is announced between Chas. E. Willis, only son of Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Willis, of Devonport, and A 1 Clarke, second daughter of Mr. Irving Clarke, Heme Bay.
Laird—Hines.—The engagement is announced between David John, onlyson of Staff-Sergeant and Mrs. D. R. Laird, of Auckland, and Levena Mary Hines, only daughter of Mrs. J. Brown, of Milford, and the late Mr. R. A. Hines, Te Aroha.
Stites—Royston.—The engagement is announced between Theo. W. (Bill) youngest son of Mrs. M. E. Stites and the late Mr. F. T. Stites, of Epsom and Marion, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Royston, of Golf Road, Titirangi.
Stott—Downer.—Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stott, of Leslie Avenue, Mount Albert, announce the engagement of their only son, Frank Ernest, to Roma Frances, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Downer, of Kaukapakapa. * * * *
