Proclamations in this week's Gazette include declarations of the taking of land for various public purposes. These include the taking of a quarter-acre section in the borough of Manurewa for a postmaster's residence; of an acre at Okoheriki, near Ngongotaha, Rotorua, for a police station; of a quarteracre in the parish of Titirangi for the purposes of State housing; and of 956 acres at Waipoua, Hobson County, , for the permanent State forest.
