LIGHTNING RAID.

BRITISH LAND IN NORWAY

(Reed. 11 a.m.) STOCKHOLM, April 14.

Brit' h troops, landing on Saturday night, from a destroyer at an undisclosed port in the north of Norway, destroyed a fislimeal factory.

Norwegian volunteers took part iu the raiding party, and also machine-gunned the house of a prominent Quisling supporter.

A British Official Wireless message says, with regard to the reports of the raid, it is stated in official Norwegian circles in London that no reports have been received so far, but a statement can apparently be expected soon. It is understood, however, that the, raid was undertaken by a Norwegian warship ill agreement with the Briti-h nasal authorities.
