REPORTED MISSING.

AIRMAN FROM HAMILTON. SERGT.-OBSERVER SUTHERLAND. (0.C.) HAMILTON", this day. After four months' active service overseas with a bomber squadron SergeantObserver Andrew George Sutherland, only son of Mr. X. G. Sutherland, of Hamilton, is reported missing. In cablcd advice received yesterday it was stated that Sergeant-Observer Sutherland failed to return from air operations on the night of April 8.

He is 21 years ol<t and joined the Royal Xew Zealand Air Force at Levin exactly a year ago and left New Zealand in September. He was born in Cambridge and educated at the Cambridge and Hamilton West Primary Schools and the Hamilton High School. He joined the Hamilton branch of the Bank of Xew Zealand four years ago. He was a prominent swimmer.
