Certain Lnited Kingdom exporters are endeavouring to secure relaxation of the restriction of shipping space for intra-Kinpire trade.

"There is 110 great purpose to lie served bv exporting to countries within the sterling bloc unless they fulfil the essential need to relieve dollar expenditure."' Mr. Cooper says.
Exports to the Dominions would be permi.-sible if ne.-essary to retain the markets for peace timf-. but he does not think the I'nited Kingdom i* likely to lose them.
