THE METROPOLE.
The up-to-date appointments at the Aletropole attracted another crowded gathering of dancers at the Metropole on Saturday night, the alternation of modern and raythmic dances satisfying all tastes. Fox trots and waltzes were interspersed with the valeta, maxina and polonaise, and the Monte Carlo competition created keen interest. The miisi- was of an exceptionally nigh standard, and the instrumentalists led by Lew Jones at the piano, received hearty applause. The profrramme was under the supervision of Mr. Les Williams. Supper was served downstairs.
