WOMEN OBJECT.
EQUAL PAY WANTED. SYDNEY, March 20. On the ground that women should not be called into the fighting services until every available man has been used, some Labour members are opposing the announced formation of a Women's K.A.A.F. Auxiliary. It is proposed to enrol 320 women for radio, administrative and domestic duties and to pay them approximately two-thirds of corresponding rates for airmen. This latter provision is also being opposed by the supporters of equal pay for both sexes.
