PAPER MONEY DESTROYED
As a sequel to an accident last week, in which he injured his pelvis, Paper Money hns been destroyed. His owner was advised by veterinary surgeons that the life vt the horse could be saved, but Mr. Faulks would not risk Paper Money suffering any pain and had him destroyed. Paper Money was fouled In 3 OIH. nnd was imported to New - Zenlnnd by the lnte Mr. J. B. Reid. After beinp located at Elderslle for three years. Paper Money was sent to the Amberley district for two or three years, where he got Wild Chare and Paper Slipper, two of the best ' of ills progeny. Then he went to the Sails bury Stud, and Alma and Boloyna were two of tlie best he left there, before going to the Wanaka Stud, where he remained until his death. In addition to the horses already named. Paper Money left outstanding performers In Inflation, Silver Coat, Silver Paper, Silver Streak, Paper Note, Autopay. Money Mine and others. It.is commited that during the seventeen seasons * PJ°R en >" bave been racing they have won 782 races in the Dominion, the stake k money aggregating £760,725.
