ENGINEERS CONFER.

At the quarterly meeting of the Auckland branch of the Xew Zealand Institution of Engineers held at the Auckland University College. Mr. E. M. de Lisle, of the Post and Telegraph Department, gave an address on '"Beam Wireless and Direction Finding," illustrated by Balopticon projections. Mr. X. L. Vickerman presided over an excellent attendance.
