Our Club Letter
Dear Sunbeams— Once again a very small letter, just big enough to say how wonderful has been your response to our appeal. Molt Sunbeam captains, laden with parcels and peeping shyly round the door, find me in the midst of a tightcrammed room piled up with quilts, woollies, baby clothes and groceries. And isn't it a joy when 1 point out the boxes and boxes of lemons for hot drinks to drive away those 'flu germs which have crept into so many poor homes; the eiderdowns and quilts which will keep Old Man Winter very far outside the door! It's so very nice to meet you all, Sunbeams, too! • Wasn't that a lovely cosy bed socks pattern published last week? If you have any knitting directions you think might be useful to our Sunshine workers, do send them in, won't you? Love to you all from WENDY
