KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR.
Injuries which included a fracture of the leg were suffered by Mr. Fred Warne, aged about 60, of 3, Ireland Street, Ponsonby, when he was knocked down by a motor car yee-terday evening. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital and Ms condition to-day was fair.
