NO FINALITY.
EVACUATION PLAN. Children From Britain To Dominions. GOVERNMENT'S AIM. (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, June 20. No scheme has yet been finally fixed for the evacuation of British children to the Dominions and other overseas countries, and it is unlikely that the first movement of children could be started before two or three weeks have passed. Mr. G. H. Shakespeare, Under-Secre-tary for the Dominions, states that any idea of mass migration is absolutely contrary to the wishes of any of the Governments concerned. A safe reruge is intended for a limited number of children on a wellordered plan, and the major Government policy is still to send children from evacuation areas to reception areas in Britain itself.
