RECRUITS FOR ARMY.

MORE ENLISTMENTS. SEVENTY-TWO MEN YESTERDAY. Changes in the war situation during the week-end led to a sharp increase ill recruiting in No. 1 (Auckland) Area yesterday, 72 men offering their services for the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force, as compared with 49 on Saturday. Among the recruits was A. Leger, of Nukualofa, Tonga, who was a passenger by a ship which arrived in Auckland yesterday afternoon. The recruits yesterday were:— B. S. Scacomhe, It. C. Klssell, R.
