OFFICERS ELECTED.
A large attendance, which included bakers from all parte of the province, attended the annual meeting of the Auckland Master Bakers and Pastrycooks' Industrial Lnion of Employers on "Saturday night. In hie annual report the retiring president, Mr. Claude Cowan, pointed out the need for revision of existing price*, wtj-.eR had been fixed in 1936. He also referred to the increased cost of producing The following officers were elected-— President, Mr. G. K. Mathieson; vicepresidente, Messrs. J. A. Cannon and J. Parkes; delegate to New Zealand executive, Mr. C. Cowan; representative to employers association, Mr. R. S. Harropexecutive, Messrs. E. L. Burton, \ D Comes, C. Cowan. A. Farrar. H W Griffin, J. McGregor. W. R. Morgan. R. H. Montgomery, M. P. Murray. J. Rice, J. H. Shoebridge, J. Wilson, and presidents ° r their nominees of all eub-associ.tions. Mr. Claude Cowsn was unanimously elected a life member of the association.
