FOB CXTT AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist Issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south a* Hamilton. Kawhis and Tauranga:— Moderate winds from a westerly quarter. Weather fair to fine at first, but scattered showers after about twenty-four hours. Moderate temperatures. Seas slight on the east coast, and moderate on the west coast ...* e eom P'*» depression is crossing the South Island. Pressure is high in the north and is rising rapidly over the South Tasman. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hsuraki Gulf was Tlritiri Island at noon Wind, south-south-west, moderate; Eft. • m f e " , : weather, cloudy; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
