BRIDGE PARTY.
EMERGENCY PRECAUTIONS.
MOUNT ALBERT BRANCH. A successful bridge party was held this week at the residence of Mrs. Norman Craig to raise funds for the Mount Albert branch of the Emergency Precautions Women's Auxiliary. Mre. Craig received the guests gowned in a black American model frock, banded in satin and relieved with white.
Members of the committee present were: Mrs. H. A. Anderson, Mayoress, president, Mrs. E. Miller, Mrs. Charles Martyn, Mrs. T. Spry, Mrs. L. C. Dawson, Mrs. Irel&nd, Mrs. S. Lusk, Miss V. Lowe.
The prizewinners were. Mrs. C. C. Leys, Mrs. W. Cossey, and Miss C. Cherry. Others present included: Mesdames Andrew Craig, G. T. Simpson, W. H. Worrall, G. Masters, E. W. Aspinall, Tucker, J. Craig, T. Congalton, S. Harrison, J. Stewart, A. O'Donoghue, W. J. Brooks, T. Irwin, Pilkington, Parker, H. T. Grubb, D. Leys, J. Fuller, W. Weaver, H. Lane, E. Braithwaite, D. Marshall, G.
