SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED

DUXEDIX, Thursday

The Council of the University of Otago has awarded the Lady King Scholarship to Dr. W. J".. Henley, a Rhodes Scholar. \vl>o has just returned to New Zealand. This scholarship was established some years ago and has to do with research in infant feeding. The scholarship, which is for one year, and can be extended from year to year, carries a salary of £(s(>o a year. It was considerably increased in value by a grant from the Government Medical Research Council. Dr. Henley attended the Otago Medical School for three years. He was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship and went to Oxford to complete his medical course. He will have his headquarters in Dunedin.
