BLOMFIELD BEATEN.
OUTPOINTED BY DONOVAN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. | The 1030 wrestling season was launched in Wellington to-night, when Jack Donovan (America) outpointed Lofty Blomneld, the New Zealand champion, before a large attendance in the Town Hall. Blomfield took a fall in the fourth round with elbow jolts and a body press, but the American evened with «i fall in the sixth round, following two heavy dumps They exchanged flying tackles and elbow jolts until the end of the contest, when the verdict for Donovan was well received, as he had done most of the leading. Donovan scaled 16.10, and Blomfield 16.8. It was a stirring contest, in which there was not a dull moment.
