MONTEREY ON MONDAY NIAGARA FROM VANCOUVER. AKAROA FOR WELLINGTON. NORTHUMBERLAND TO LOAD. The Matson liner Monterey, which left Sydney at 11 a.m. yesterday for Auckland, will arrive at 7 a~m. on Monday, berthing on the western side of Prince s wharf. She has 234 passengers for Auckland and 426 booked through. A lurther 240 will join the vessel here when she sails at 5 p.m. on Monday for San Francisco, via Suva, Pago Pago, Honolulu and Los Angeles. The Cana-dian-Australasian Royal Mail steamer Niagara is due from Vancouver, via Victoria, 8.C., Honolulu and Suva at noon on Monday. It is possible that with a fresh head wind, wliicn ir; prevailing at present, she may not arrive before 2 p.m. She will berth on the westetn side of Queen's wharf, and sails for Sydney at 10 p.m. on Tuesday. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Akaroa, with cargo from London, will leave at 5 p.m. to-day for Wellington to complete discharge and start home loading. The Federal steamer Northumberland, which left Port Chalmers at 4.30 p.m. on Thursday for Auckland, will arrive at 9 a.m. to-morrow, berthing at Central wharf. She is loading for London and West Coast ports and is expected to leave Auckland next Friday for Wanganui and Wellington, sailing from the latter port on May 13. Wanganella sailed at 10 o'clock last night for Sydney with 240 passengers and general cargo. She is clue to arrive on Tuesday morning. (H.P.)
