LONDON WOOL SALES.
PRICE CHANGES EXPECTED. The L nion Bank of Australia lias received the following telegraphic advice from its London office:—"At the -wool sales about to open here brokers anticipate prices as compared with last sales are expected to be approximately: — Merino "wool, par to o per cent cheaper; crossbred, medium and coarse, par to 5 per cent dearer; cross-bred, fine, par."
OPPOSITION LEADER. ENTHUSIASM AT M®ETINGS. The Leader of the Opposition, the« Hon. Adam Hamilton, yesterday visited tlve Pukekolie and Papatoet-oe districts, I where lie addressed crowded meetings of committee workers and supporters of 'the National party. , There were 250 at the meeting at Pukekolie in the afternoon, at which Mr. J. jST. Massev, M.P_, presided. Last night there were 550 present at a meeting held in the Papatoetoe public hall. Mr. W. F. Nicholson presided. At both meetings Mr. Hamilton was received | with great enthusiasm. To-day Mr. Hamilton was entertained at afternoon tea at Titirangi before continuing to Helensville, where he speak* to-night. Mr. Hamilton will return to the city on Tuesday, and will leave for Wellington by train on Thursday night.
