CRASH OVER BANK.

UNUSUAL OAR ACCIDENT.

An unusual accident occurred a mile from Talhape, when a car driven by Mr. J. Stellin. of Wellington, crashed over a bank. My* a Frew -Vwociation telegram from Taihape. T!he driver was accompanied by hi* wife and two daughter*. Mrs. Stellin. who was in the front seat, had her collarbone bj-oken. While negotiating a sharp bend on a down grade a caravan attached to the car skidded In loose metal. The brakes were applied, but the caravan forced the car on and over the bank. The caravan •werving acroes the road, was struck by * following motorist.

The car, efter * fall of 20ft, cAme to rest in some trees, and was considerably damaged.
