SEVERE COLLISION.
OAR PASSENGER DIES.
Fatal head injuries were euiTered by Mr. Robert Yoreton Thomson, aged 41, of Collins Street, Hawera, when the car in which he was a passenger came into collision with another vehicle at an intersection in New Plymouth late on Friday night.
Mr. H. K. Gould was the driver of the small car in which Mr. Thomson was travelling witlh another passenger, when it collided violently with another car, driven by Mr. F. C. Moody. Mr. Thorn•on wa* apparently thrown out by the force of the impact, striking his head on the road. He wa« taken to the Hawera Hospital, where he died on Saturday. Extensive damage was done to Mr. Gould's car, while the other overturned.
