CANDIDATES THANKED.

(From Our Corres-pondeni.) DRURY, Tuesday. An address was given by Mr. E. Piggott, Labour candidate for the Franklin electorate, in the Drury Hall before an audience of about 100. Mr. Piggott said he upheld the Government's policy as it had brought happiness and' security to the people, including the farming community. At the conclusion of his address, Mr., Piggott answered a number of questions, and was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence.
