LOST HIS PENSION.
WILLED BY ROTHSCHILD. HITLER ANNOYS GARDENER. (Special.— Br Air Mall.) LONDON, August 28. Very annoyed with Herr Hitler ie Mr. Alfred Cook, 68-year-old gardener, of Hounslow, Middlesex, who worked at Sandringham for King Edward VII. (then Prince of Wales) and in Paris and Vienna for the millionaire Rothechilds. Hitler's march into Vienna lost Mr. Cook the pension of £20 e year he had drawn since 1908, after the death of Baron Nathaniel Rothschild. Baron Rothschild willed him a pension of 1000 Austrian kronen (then worth about £43) a year. In 1914 this was reduced to £20, and he got his £5 quarterly cheques regularly until last June from the London branch of the house of Rothschild.
