ELLERSLIE CONTRACT.
£5400 FOR POST OFFICE.
Advice that the tender of Mr. J. R. Simpson for £5402 has been accepted by the Government for extensive alterations and additions to the Ellorslie Post Office has been received by Mr. A. G. Osborne, M.P. for Manukau, from the Hon. F. Jones, Postmaster-General. The building will be completely Temodelled and equipped to meet the requirements of the rapidly growing district. Included in the work will be the provision of more space for the public, more commodious accommodation for the staff and improved residential facilities."
