PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
OKEHCKGA CONGREGATION. Reports of the year's work were presented at the annual meeting of the congregation of the Onehunga Presbyterian Church, over which the minister, the Rev. W. J. Pellow, presided. There are 239 members on the communion roll, and an average of 177 communicants at the quarterly communion services. The church attendances have been well maintained, both at the main church and at the two dut-stations at the Scott Hall, Tawhiri Road, and at Te Papapa. The board of managers reported that a considerable sum of money frad been raised, largely as a result of direct giving, for the improvement of church property. As a result an electric system of heating had been installed in the church, the grounds had been improved, renovations and repairs carried out to the manse and Sunday school buildings, and the deficit of £109 in the property and maintenance account had been "wiped out. In addition, extensions to the Scott Hall had been made early in the year by voluntary labour, and the capacity of the hall had been doubled. The Te Papapa building fund had also been increased. Special reference was made to the strength of the youth movement. A total of 232 scholars under 24 teachers are enrolled in the three Simday schools. The seven Bible classes have a total membership of 90. A Young Worshippers' League has recently been formed, with a membership of 70* children. The sacrament of baptism was administered to 27 children, and 47 voung children are on the cradle roll of the Church.
