VOCAL CIRCLE MEETS.

Presided over by Miss Amy Hansard, the vocal circle of the Society of Musicians met last night, when the principal feature was a talk on Grieg and Strauss by Madame Aileen Johns. Excerpts from the works of these composers were sung by Miss Doris Foote, Mrs. Leaeli. Miss Xorma Joll, Miss Mary Jellie, Mrs. Myrtle Poole, Miss Girleen Clark, Miss Hilma Moody. Miss Thersa Flynn, Miss Loriia Schmidt, Miss Edna Smith, Miss Jacquelline Page, Miss Bettv Urrey and M iss Phyllis Read. The accompanists were Miss Isohel McKinnon, Miss Lois Shortland and Mr. Pat Towsey.
