CROQUET CLUB.
Remueia. Large bowls of autumn flowers and foliage decorated the pavilion at Market Road yesterday, when the second bridge afternoon of the Remuera Croquet Club was held. There was a large attendance of plavers, and prizes were by Mrs. A. Coutts (contract) and Mesdames Reg. Norton and McLaurie (auction). Mrs. J. Jarvie, the president of the club, received and welcomed the following guests: Mesdames C. Webber, F. Baker, W. Coltman, W. Burrett, Baildon, Bassett, Cross. Ellison. Chapman, Lamb. Laurie, F. Wilson, Huddleston, Cole. Isemonger, Grove, Bolton, Reg. Xorton. Canavan, Brook. Renwick, Wilson. Curtis. Butts. A. R. Graham, Hampton. W. Brabant, Burns. Morris. A. Coutts. Willcoeks. Whitmore. J. Healev, Lusher. R. Peacock. McKendrick. Brice Smith. McDonald, A. Gardner, L. Keys. Daniels. Rawnslev. H. Watts; Stevenson. Hodge, Keatley and Entriean.
