Notts: First innings, four for 290 (Harris 81), v. Hampshire; abandoned. Northants: First innings, 166 (Nelson 76; Wellard five for 52, Buse five for 56); second innings' 165 (Wellard seven for 76). Somerset: First innings, 271 (Lyon 122 not out); second innings*, seven for 65 (Buswell five for 32). Somerset won by three -wickets.
