STRANGE CLAUSE IN WILL.

BRISBANE, this day,
Probate was granted in the Supreme Court of a will containing a clause regarded in legal circles as the first of its kind in Queensland.
The testator, William Wilson Farquhar, ordered his • home at" Eidsvold, together with the furniture and other buildings on the property, to be destroyed by fire.
It is expected that early action will be taken to comply with the terms of the will. Total value of the property to be destroyed is approximately £550.

A resolution of greetings to secondary school • teachers of New Zealand and Australia, and of \varm appreciation of the hospitality recently extended to touring British headmasters, was passed at the opening session at the Guildhall of the annUal conference of the Incorporated Ass6clat:on of Headmasters.
The New >iealand and Australian High Commissioners, Messrs. W. J. Jordan and S. M. Bruce, were giiests of the association at the session:
