Between 400 and 500 children from the poorer areas of the city were given their annual Christmas treat by" the Auckland City Mission this morning, when a party was held at the Civ?c Theatre. 1-ree picture entertainment was provided by courtesy of the management of the Civic, and toys and sweets were distributed to the children.
