LIQUOR FOR MAORIS.

WITAKATAXK, Tuesday. The supplying of li< |U or to Maoris resulted in two men. Fred C. Parkinson and I. Kora. appearing before Mr. E. L Walton, S.M., to da v.

Constable 0. Rice said that on October 30 lu- arrested Kora in connection with a motor accident on the scene of which he had found liquor. In a statement Parkinson admitted buying liquor for Kora and placing it in'Kora's car.

Parkinson was fined £3 and costs, but in view of the fact that Kora bad already been punched in connection writh the accident he was ordered to pav costs only.
