DISPUTE NOT VET SETTLED,

DTVERCARf!ILL, Tuesday.
Tt was announced to-night that the strike at the Linton coal mine had ended and that work would l>e resumed in the morning. Ail immediate attempt will be made to settle, the dispute between the company and the union over the recent dismissal of a trucker. The cmemployee concerned has been reinstated pending a settlement of the dispute by the central disputes committee, whose decision will be final.
