When the Springboks arrived at Sydney to-day by the Awatea they looked fit and well after their New Zealand tour.

The captain. P. J. Xel, said lie felt that the tour had been beneficial both to t lie South Africans and the New Zoalanders.

His men were looking forward to the proposed visit by the All Blacks to South Africa in 1942.

Mr. Nel said the play of the New Zealand backs at present was at a low ebb. and the Dominion tackling was sometimes poor.
