SCHOOL COLOURS.

OLD BOYS' REUNION. MOUNT ALBERT GRAMMAR. Aβ expected the colour scheme at the Peter Pan last night was blue and gold. Streamers in the old school colours were twisted across the ceiling and around the pillars—in fact everything down to the serviettes on the supper table was carried out in the appropriate shades for the annual ball of the Mount Albert Grammar School Old Boys' Association. The "lion rampant," too, was present in all his glory, adding much to the "good old days'" spirit. A novel feature of the decorations Was the cubicles allotted to the representatives of the kindred associations. Auckland Boye' Grammar, King's College, Sacred Heart, Takapuna Grammar, New Plymouth High School and English public schools were all represented by the colours and badges of the various colleges, giving an effect reminiscent of the old-time football matches. The guests were received by Mr. Roger Aickin, a vice-president of the association, and Mrs. Aickin, who wore a frock of white and silver damask satin. Members of the committee present included:—Messrs. H. T. J. McNeil, P. A. Finlayson, R. S. Occlestone, J. Henley and A. G. Grey. A special feature of the evening was an exhibition dance given by Miss Margaret O'Connor. Among those present were: Mrs. M. Tongue, Mrs. H. L. Towers, Mrs. Murray Nairn, Mrs. H. L. Calder, Mrs. J.
