A CLUB FOR MOTHERS.

I wish to thank "Mother of Two" for her support in a problem which concerns t lie women ot Xew Zealand. The recent gra\e report of conditions affecting the birth rate of our country has its reflection on the most important" persons, the mothers. Are we to take no action in trying to better conditions for encouraging mothers of the future? If it cannot ho done in the-e dav». perhaps it will be in the next decade. We want to rear healthy, happy children, but lirst of all they must have happy homes. We hear of plentv of "home-wreckers." so why not help the home-makers ? ] think a mothers' club would be ideal where mothers really interested in their children's welfare could meet and dipcur*. problems, and. above all. help each other. MOTHER OF THREE.
