"N.Z. FARMER WEEKLY. - ' An interesting feature of the new "New Zealand Fanner Weekly," the first issue of which appeared yesterday, is the review of market prices for fat stock for the whole Dominion, and also for produce prices. The aim of this eection is to present the farmer with a survey in handy compass of the current market values of all primary produce.
An article entitled "Pedigree Pastures" tells of thi 13 years' work by Canterbury Agricultural College in developing a strain of cockefoot grass for pasturage, and is an outstanding example of the wide range of articles contained in this new journal. Other examples are the diagrams on the points of a good baconer, the greater profits that come from planned topdreseing, details of a shipment of Southdown sheep for New South Wales, and a survey of the autumn shows. Every branch of farming is adequately covered.
Anyone interested in farm life or farming problems should not hesitate to purchase a copy of thie fine new illustrated publication.
