FAREWELL TEA.
MRS. T. HICKEY,
An enjoyable afternoon tea, convened by Mrs. C. Dawson, was given in Milne and Choyce's balcony tearoom yesterday afternoon. The guest of honour was Mrs. T. Hickey, now of Sydney, who was formerly a resident of Auckland. Mrs. Hickey has been spending a holiday in New Zealand, and sails by the Aw'atea to-day. Mrs. E. W. Moore spoke briefly of the pleasure felt by her old friends and coworkers in the Auckland Labour party at having Mrs. Hickey with them again after her long absence". Mrs. Hickey said that her holiday in New Zealand bad been especially delightful in enabling her to renew old friendships and to make new ones. Among those present were: Mesdames W. E. Anderton, Bishop, Ciochetti, Cruickshanks, Dawson, E. Gibson, Moore, W. E. Parry, Prince, A. J. Wynn. Hickey, Hurst, Johnson, McCready,
