ISRAEL—ROBINSON
BLUE, PINK AND SILVER. A very impressive wedding ceremony took place last evening at the Synagogue, Princes Street, when Miss Ida Leah Robinson, oniy daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Robinson, of Heme Bay Road, was married to .Mr. Henry Montague Israel, only son of Mr. arid Mrs. A. Israel, of Stokes Road, Mouat Eden. The church was exquisitely decorated in blue and pink flowers. The bridal group were arranged under a ruby red velvet canopy, and from each corner festoons of light foliage and pink dahlias were artistically arranged, while the reading desk and main pews were a bower of pink tiger lilies, carnations and blue delphiniums. A lane of blue hydiangeas and pink roses was formed for the bridal group to walk to the ministei, Air. A. Aster, who performed the ceremony, and Mr. J. Blitz supplied the wedding music. Mr. J. Robinson gave his daughter away. She was a charming figure in her cream lace gown, which was cut on slender Grecian lines. The long sleeves, cut away from the shoulders, fell to the wrists, and on one side of the bodice was a spray of white satin and silver water lilies. Inset on the back of the skirt was a train formed into a huge water lily, while the same flowers in satin and diamante centres were artistically caught with silver lea vea. Her second train was of stiffened net, and held in place by a chaplet of pearl*. A sheaf of lily auratum was carried. She was attended by the Misses Pearl Iheister (Wellington), Rose Collinson and three dainty little train bearers, Shirley and Eleanor Pezaro and Audrey Pezaro. Ihe bridesmaids were charmingly gowned in turquoise blue French taffe'ta with tight-fitting bodices, cut with Vyokes, and fluted rosettea with pink frayed centres on the shoulders. Silver strands held the appliqued large rosettes on the bouffant skirts. They wee sprays of fresh flowers on their heads and earned bouquets of pink bouvardia and blue delphiniums. The little maids wore the same toned Kate Greenaway frocks with vandyked ruchings, on the skirts, and frayed rosettes were finished with small pink rosebuds in the centre. Their headdresses and ponies were ol pink tairy rosebuds. 1 ''e bridegroom was supported bv Mr I Michael Robinson (brother of the bride),! and Mr. Louis Robinson as groomsman.'.' Lsliers at the church were .Messrs. Frank, IVzaro, Percy Robinson and X. Cohen. Afterwards a reception was held at' George (. ouit and Sons. Ihe .iuge tearoom was arranged as a cabaret the centre of the polished floor Ikmii<_' set for dancing. Exquisite pink carnations, roses and forget-me-nots and other blue flowers were a feast of colour to the eve. while the wedding table was a mass'ofj white roses and crystal candelabra. Mrs Robinson received the large number of guests in a black sou pie satin, which was trimmed with ruchings. black lace straw hat and red rose bouquet completed her toilet. Mrs. Israel (the bridegroom's mother) wore a gown of black satin crepe, the bodice being inset with a yoke and sleeves of oxidised net Her smart black hat was relieved with a pink flower, and she carried a oouquet of pink carnations and bouvardia
