INTOXICATION CHARGES.

DAIRY FARMER. REMANDED. A dairy farmer, Bertram Edmund Bezar, aged 31, appeared in the Police Court this morning on a charge of being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor car in Queen Street yesterday. Mr. E. L. Thwaites, who represented accused, in asking for a remand until next week, stated that Dr. M. G. Pezaro, who would give evidence that Bezar was not intoxicated and able to drive a car, had gone to Wellington and would not be back before Tuesday. Mr. C. R. Orr Walker, S.M., granted the remand and renewed bail.
