ANNUAL MEETING.
AUCKLAND CHORAL SOCIETY,
The annnal meeting of the Auckland Choral Society was held last night when a successful year's work was reviewed. Two concert* at the Town Hal), and three broadcast, had been given, which wae regarded as satisfactory. Mr. E. Davis, Mayor of Auckland, was reelected patron of the society, with Mr. C. B. Plummer, president, and Mr. E. E. Pierce, vice-president. Other elections were: Treasurer, Mr. W. G. Offer; secretary, Mr. F. Austin; executive council, Mrs. Collier, Miss Winifred Johnson, Messrs. Black, Burry, Jones, Birtley and Cogswell. A Kght supper was aftejwards served.
