FREE EXHIBITION.

LORD GALWAY'S PICTURES. PART OF PRIVATE COLLECTION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Governor-General, Lord Galway, has lent to the National Gallery for exhibition to the public some of the; pictures belonging to his own private collection. Family portraits are in one section of the gallery and water solours and engravings in another. Included in the portraits are those of Sir Isaas Newton and Grinling Gibbons, the architect and carver, both by Kneller. A coloured engraving depicts the coronation robes of George IV. The exhibition will be open free for one month.
